Tips
Getting the most from Microsoft Copilot.
Use it in Teams
Publish the agent to Teams so consultants can ask about JobAdder in the same place they chat with the team.
Fits your Microsoft governance
The agent is published and managed through your Microsoft admin centre, alongside your other Copilot agents.
Prep from your calendar
Ask Copilot about your next meeting, and it can pull the client’s JobAdder history alongside it.
What it can do
Look anything up. Update it with a yes.
Find the right people
Search candidates, jobs, applications and placements, and see the history behind each one.
Know your clients
Get a client’s contacts, recent activity and notes before you pick up the phone.
Log calls and meetings
Calls and meetings are logged against your own JobAdder activity types, so your KPI reports stay accurate.
Add candidates to jobs
Add a candidate to a job without leaving the chat. Your usual JobAdder permissions still apply.
Everyone signs in as themselves
Each consultant uses their own JobAdder login, so every change is recorded against the right person.
Nothing changes without a yes
Looking things up is instant. Before anything changes in JobAdder, you see exactly what will happen and approve it.
Your data stays in your hands.
Candidate and client records hold personal information. The assistant only sees what each consultant can see, and only changes what they approve.
- Each consultant signs in with their own JobAdder login, and sees only what JobAdder lets them see.
- Changes to JobAdder wait for the consultant to approve them, and are recorded under their name.
- You choose which kinds of updates are switched on for your agency.
- Connects through the JobAdder API. No screen scraping and no browser extensions.
- Disconnect a consultant, or the whole agency, at any time.

JobAdder and Microsoft Copilot.

What do we need to use JobAdder in Copilot?
Copilot Studio, to build and publish the agent, and Microsoft 365 for your team to use it in Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot. Each consultant also needs their own JobAdder login and a RecruitAPI user connection.
Who sets it up?
Someone with access to Copilot Studio adds an MCP tool pointing at https://mcp.recruitapi.com/jobadder and publishes the agent. We can walk your Microsoft admin through it on a call.
Does each consultant sign in separately?
Yes. The first time a consultant uses the agent, they sign in with their own JobAdder login, so Copilot sees only what they can see and every change is recorded against them.
Does it work in Teams?
Yes. Publish the Copilot Studio agent to Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot, and consultants can use it in either.
